Chase promises me a low interest rate on balance trasnfers from my high rate credit cards. Then, after a few months, Chase raised my interest rate to an undeserving level because they said I carried a high balance on my credit card and I was now considered high risk. Of course I had a high balance on my Chase card; I transfered all my balances to it!!! I was never late on a payment, but that didn't matter. Chase increased my interest rate by over 3 times the orginal amount simply because they can. I've read in newspapers and magazines that this is happening all
over the country.
