I purchased 100 "Leads" supposedly for Annuity clients that per the website were responding to a survey card and were 45 age, 100k income, with net worth 500k plus, would like information about annuities, are affluent and interested, and are a direct customer. The website promised 3 way guarantee. The list was 100 names and it was in my area however, none responded to a survey, none wanted to talk to financial advisors none were interested in annuities. When I tried to get a refund the run around began.
After 3 months of fighting and eventually calling my attorney and credit card company the finally refunded $400 of my $410. I should have checked here first. I called the online BBB but... I am not sure they will do anything about them.
