Wachovia Bank
Charges for chasing their own checks

I recently walked into a wachovia branch in fort worth, texas to cash my pension check (dawn on wachovia)
i was charged $5.00 dollars to cash it because i dont have an account with them. When i pointed out to the teller that it was a pension/payroll drawn on Wachovia, she said " it doesnt matter" -

So let me get this straight if I had a Wachovia checking account and i wanted to write a check to "JOE the Plumber" for a $200 dollar job - then i should write the check for $205.00 because otherwise JOE would only get $195.00

That is ridiculous!

PLEASE do not bank with Wachovia and thank America for letting this be legal.

If anyody wants to file a class action suit, count me in.
