Citibank Payroll Card
RIP OFF Website is all lies

I am a new temp employee for Addeco. I just moved to a new city and hadn't had a chance to get a bank acct for diret deposit so they offered the Citibank Payroll Mastercard. I thought, sweet! It should be convenient right? I can pay online stuff AND their website says I can make 1 free withdraw from an ATM per pay week.
Here's their webaddress: https://www.yourprepaidcard. Transactionservices. Citigroup.com/index. Cfm. It clearly stated that I can "Make at least one free cash withdrawal per pay period" and also "Withdraw money surcharge free from any Citibank ATM, ATMs in the MoneyPass network, or ATMs at or within 7-Eleven or Publix stores."

Well, the first week I was charged a fee for my first withdraw from an ATM. I figured it was some kind of error and that's fine. So the next week I made my first withdraw and was charged again at a different ATM. I was starting to be bothered. So then I went online and looked up where "MoneyPass" atms were and went there the next time I withdrew and was charged fees AGAIN.
So I called customer service. Apparently, the absolute only place that I can withdraw from fee free is from a Citibank ATM. Yes, the website says I can withdraw from anywhere once a pay period for free. It also says I can withdraw from an MoneyPass ATM, for free. So you say, well go to a Citibank ATM! Yeah, the closest one is 185 miles away. There are plunty of MoneyPass ATMS around, but none of them are "Citibank" atms.

I am UPSET! Their website is an outright LIE. And I'm pissed at Addeco for providing Citibank ATM cards when there isn't a Citibank located for hundreds of miles.
I can't even use the damn thing to buy gas at the pump.
This week I'm going to get a bank account and get rid of the MISLEADING, LIEING card.
