I sent a check for over 98% of the pay off on 10 Jan check was for 4,274.92. The Ocwen Bank returned the check to me with an excuse that they will not post the check because it was not the total amount that the proper amount was $ 4,336.92 and if I want to pay off the account I must have a cashier check or certified check.in the past I had sent my payment using my regular checks and never have any problem getting my payment posted, not a single check ever been late, they always have their payment and know sudenly they won't take my last check that was made for the total amount that they posted in the monthly statement that I received back in the 1st week of Jan 03.
