I have been a customer of Drive Financial for almost 2 years. I have had problems from day one with this company first I had a trade in when getting my
car so drive was responsible for paying off my trade in but it took almost 2 months for them to do that which cost my trade in to reflect negative on my credit report. My car was financed for about 16000.00 and Drive said they had to put me on a payment plan which is 600.00 a month for 3 yrs in the beginning I disagreed with the dealer which is Budget Auto Sales Columnbus GA and I initially asked for my trade in back they
refused saying that it had already been traded in when I had signed no such paper work. The original car that drive was going to financed I drove over the weekend and "Budget" told me to leave my tradein with them while I test drive another SUV which was the initial vehicle they were trying to get rid of. I test drove the car on a friday and bought it back on a monday. I told them that I wanted my car back because this car seems like it will have to many mechanical problems for the asking
price. They repeatedly denied me off such and said they had another car they wanted to show me thats when the buick came in place. When the told me the amount I again asked for my honda back thats when they said it had already been sold to another dealer without me officially signing any paper work of the trade
in. They said that drive can finance the Buick for 600.00 a month for 3 yrs. I was looking at paying it off in three years and at the time me and my husbands
financial situation was alot different. They also said you can trade it in in a year if you are never 1 day late. So once financed I paid pretty good for a few
months and my husband was laid off I called Drive and relayed to them that I would be a little late with making my car payment and they asked the reason why
and I explained. So I did not know they charge a little over 7.00 a day when you are late thats a total
rip off. So when I did finally make the payment a young lady answered the phone and had a attitude right off. I told her I wanted to make a payment and she asked why. I again told her my situation she started going back and for with me and told me if I cant afford this then they can come pick it up or I need to find a second job. Is this professional? I am trying to make a payment. I was
already going through some things and for her to talk to a customer like this and get rude I was almost in tears. After all of this I begin giving her the credit card # and asked her a question she paused and paused as if she didnt here me so I diconnected my husband called back and to make a long story short he ended up making the payment. Throught out the whole year and a half this has
been occuring I havent had a perfect credit history with them because of this but each time I spoke to a CSR they have been extremely rude they have hidden fees In 1 year I paid them over 10000.00 I was financed for 16000.00 how am I still owing 14000.00 in a used car they are a rip off and although they claim to help people with not so great credit they are hurting them. The final straw was in June of this year im struggling to pay 600.00 for a car and its like im giving away money. My husband
called them and talked to a young lady and not to keep telling a subb story but its the truth. We were trying to catch up on the car payment and asked the lady
who he talked to is it any arrangement we can make she said that we would have to have 400.00by a certain date my husband stated that he would call back befor
that date to let them know. 5 minutes later a guy called back histerical and said that our file has reached his desk and he need to know something today. He
continued to yell and not let my husband speak myhusband tried to talk and the guy hung up on him. I have been so stressed dealin with this company I cant deal with harrasment ne more can this company b sued
