I have been with Drive Financial since May. At first I got treated really well, especially when I needed to change my payment due date to coincide with my paydays. Now, its a different story.
I usually make my payment using the automated phone line. For the last year I have had no problems, until now. I just called to make my July payment and the phone system says that I owe two payments, for June and July. My June payment cleared my account on June 8! Now I have to wait until Tuesday the 6th to call, find out what the deal is and make my payment.
I know that they will harass me for the "late payment charge" for June, even though I show they received the payment on the 8th of June.
I am afraid to call and check my payoff, especially after reading the horror stories on this site. I tried to trade my car in for a new one in 2003 and got told in no uncertain terms that the most they would finance for me is $9,000!! After being with them as long as I have and making all of my payments on time. I will never finance with this company again. I will walk first!!
