Itook my loan out in 1995 with equicredit, it was a ten year loan at 10.5 percent financing. I was 3 or 4 years into the contract when the name switched to fairbanks they were in a law suit over charging late fees to customers when their payments werentlate, the named then changed to select portfolio servicing, inc thats when my real problems started (this loan was a second I took out on my house for 10,000 dollers) three months after sps took over the contract they filedforeclosure on me they said I was two months behind on my payments I sent the two payments in to them and they sent them back to me and said they had already started foreclosure perceedings, they charged me 1,200.00 dollers. Then on my monthly statement I get these expenses pd by servicer its now upto 1,212.82 of extra charges. I called them up to see what the charges were they said they were for property taxes which are paid by my first lean holder cal vet or the asset the property the real good one i isurance on my property which I pay threw my first lean holder calvet they kept charging me for their insurance I kept telling them I already have home owners insurance they still kept charging me then in 2004 May 17 my house burnt down and I called them to tell them I wanted to be paid for the house burning down and they said you can't double insure which is what I kept telling them. After that the stopped charging me I think anyway. My loan should of been paid off in the year 2005 thats ten years Iam still paying the loan I still owe them 5,397.52 after 13 years I keep writing letters to them I dont get answers back I told them they owed me 3 years wearth of back payments 125.81 is my payment times 3 years equals 4529.16. I didnt send them a payment for one month and they said they were starting foreclosure on us again lawyer fees etc. We keep paying every month on time and my bill still hasn't went down were is my money going? I called they and they said I still have until 2013 before the loan is paid off. When the house burnt down I lost my contract with them I told them to look at the contract and they will see the loan ended in 2005. Iam at my witts end could you please help me? Loan # 8013022366
