I have been trying to cancel my service with Credit Inform since April of 08. Each month I have a new charge on my Cap One statement.
When I call Cap One to tell them not to pay it they transfer me to an out sourced line in the Philippines for Credit Inform. Each time they admitt that I have indeed called to cancel several times but it is a system problem that I get charged. They tell me it will NOW stop and they will credit me for that months charges. The next month there is a brand NEW charge and no credit.
Two days ago I insisted on speaking to a manager in the US and I got a guy that kept insisting there was no charge on my bill, because they had credited me for the prior month. But there is a new charge right there, on the bill, added into my total charges. The new charge is for the month of June on my July statement and they refuse to credit me.
I am contacting the Attorney General's office.
Do not sign up with Credit Inform, it has been a nightmare, plus someone had fraudulently tried to use one of my other credit cards and Credit Inform never informed me... The other credit card caught it, notified me and refunded my money... Credit Inform was clueless.
