Canceled credit card Rip-off

BlazeNet claims use of canceled credit card.

At the end of December I received a bill from BlazeNet of which this was the first time I received any billing from BlazeNet. For six months of service starting November 1st 2000. It indicated that BlazeNet had not succeeded in getting an approval on a credit card number which was in my file from when it
was transferred to BlazeNet from Wideopen. (Of which Wideopen was authorized to use and only used it once, all other payments were then made to Wideopen by check.

BlazeNet felt free to use this credit card number just because it was on file, giving no consideration to the fact that BlazeNet had no authorization.) It stated on the bill that if payment was not received by the 10th of Jan service would be turned off.

I called BlazeNet upon receipt of this billing and explained at that time that this credit card had been canceled. I put a check in the mail on the 30th of December, along with a letter explaining that BlazeNet was not to use any of my credit card
information and was not authorized and should not use this credit card because the account had been closed/canceled. The check cleared my bank account on the 4th of January. On the 13th of January which was a weekend when I tried to get on line it would not allow me. So I called tech support who told me that I could not get on because no payment had been received on
my account and that I had to call customer service to get the matter cleared up to get back on. I then called back and left a message that I would be calling the bank the following business day to stop payment on the check, which had already cleared my account but I did not know at the time.

Then I placed a call to BlazeNet, when I called BlazeNet to find out why my check was cashed but my service was still cutoff I could not even get the truth, they told me I had never been turned off. They could not understand why I was so upset. Therefore I choose as of the 17th of January to discontinue our
service relationship at which time it was verified that I would receive a refund for the unused balance.

On February 5th I sent an email requesting my refund be sent to me. On February 12th I received email in response to my request that BlazeNet would put a credit on the credit card they were not authorized to use. At which time I telephoned BlazeNet and again told them that they were not to use this credit card account due to the fact that it was canceled. They refused to
understand and then I was told that BlazeNet had already sent a credit on my credit card, it was policy that they put it on my credit card even after being aware of the full situation, this account however was paid by check. I then inquired in a second telephone call as to the date the credit was placed on the card and the number in which they were using, first I was told the
credit in the amount of $90.10 had been put thru on 2/8, then when I mentioned that I had called the bank I was told that the transaction did not take place until 2/12 so they lied to me again.

I understand that this would fall under credit card fraud by using unauthorized credit card information and by making unauthorized transactions and on 2/12 told me that BlazeNet had
used this credit card again. I followed up by requesting again by email that BlazeNet put a check in the mail to me as my refund in the amount of $90.10 I have received nothing. "PLEASE HELP ME GET MY MONEY BACK" I am filing this report with you and I feel I have no choice but to report them for credit card fraud.
