Ok. On december 23 I let my friend use my credit card to make a payment. Well we did not know that it was going to be declined because his address was on file and not mine.
So he called them and they told him that the auth on my credit card would be dropped at midnight. So I said fine.
Well, I looked at my card the next day and it is still there. So I called them and told them the situation and they said their policy said no they cannot call my credit card company to tell them to drop the auth even though they know it will not be charged.
They said they advised the bank of my credit card to release it yet they cannot make a simple call? So I talked to one of the supervisors whose name I forget and she called me stupid to let someone use my card and that they did not know who I was. If they did not know who I was then why did they ask me for my address and phone number?
Then she hung up on me and I have witness to this conversation. My friend that I was helping out.
My point is, if they can advise the bank that the charge is not going through, then how come they can't make a simple phone call to get it off of my card?
Also, how dare they call me stupid.
