I had a Sears card in 1992 that was charge off by sears in 1993.in 1994, I had recieved a letter and did a settlerment of about half of what was owed

In I cleaned out my files with anything that was 10 years old. I had not heard anything on it nor did anyone contact me about it. Shortly after that, I started getting calls and explaining that I had already did a settlement back in 1994. I explained this everytime and tell them I do not owe anything. They claim they recieved a payment in 2001 which never happened. They keep calling at all diferent times of the day. Several times I get woken up on Saturdays at 8am to w recording to call them about an account. They even go as far as talking to my husband when he answers the phone my husband tells them to stop calling and that he has nothing to do with it since he was not married to at the time that card was paid off. They call him a deadbeat and a bunch of names. He has nothing to do with the original credit card. Today, while I was at work they called 3 times calling him a dead beat and a looser after being told it was not his debt.
