In December received written notice of cancellation of credit card program. ASPIRE raised the rate of interest on a closed account; charged late and over the limit fees; and, Insurance Premiums which in turn increased my credit card balance.
Contacted the company in January to stop the Insurance Premiums but was billed for it anyway.informed ASPIRE, I will only pay the balance dueon my purchases and interest only. Contacted ASPIRE via email, telephoned; and, sent a fax to cancel the Insurance Premiums. I am still trying to get this charge stopped. I refuse to pay any tacked on fees to make them more money.
ASPIRE VISA is a fraudulent company; and, is making money hand over fist from every card holder whose account was closed. This also has a negative impact on my credit report. At this rate, my account balance will never be reduced as my payments are going towards interest and excessive fees.
