Got a Call From Aspire Visa they bought out Providian. Aspire already had all my personal info (SS, AccT # from Providian Ect). I was informed of new credit limit, and interest rate. Card came in about week. Credit limit was half limit quoted, interest was 17% higher than quoted. I did not activate card and called to cancel Card.
Called providian found out they did not sell my accounts and will investagte Aspire as well. The next Day someone from Aspire visa Called and to see if I got the Aspire Visa yet and wanted me to sent in old Providian Cards after telling what I knew about Aspire (Fraud, lies) they hung up... Funny Yes but very worried about what they could do to someone with peoples personal info.
