My car was serviced by an auto shop, then re-serviced elsewhere due to shoddy work by the first auto shop. Unfortunately, I was the last customer through the door at the first auto-shop, and they ended up doing more damage to my car as they were going out of business.
I sent proof of duplication of services to the Citi fraud department. Citi required more verification for the damage to my car, even though I provided photographs and detailed invoices from the second service place that showed duplication of service.
Citi reversed the charge, and denied my claim. Citi must be financially hurting if this is how they are treating the small customer.
I would advise people to stay away from Citi credit cards since, if they don't provide buyer protection in this case, they don't provide any protection at all.
