Our home loan was sold in the secondary market to OCWEN. We have never been late on a payment yet they reported a 30-day late. About this time our ARM doubled in payment due to reset which we had anticipated. We sent them proffo that they had indeed received our payment and cashed it but they refused to remove the credit ding. We got our attorney involved and then they said they could not do anything because my wife's social security number was wrong, which it was not (how could they report to the credit burueau if it was wrong?). After four months is is apparent they do not want us refinancing. They are unresponsive, rude, and evasive. They should not be in business, jail probably best suits them.
