Ok, so i used the same ole method i use every year as far as filing taxes. I always efile because it saves me time and a little money. I didn't use the ral because i wasn't in a huge hurry and plus i don't feel like wasting the money to do so... Anyway, my return was accepted by the irs and is scheduled to be deposited into my checking account on feb 15. There wasn't any type of delay according to the irs, but according to SBBT they haven't received it yet and that there was a delay.
Ok, if the irs states there isn't a delay then why exactly would there be a delay with this company? I have been using the same tax site www.onlinetaxes.com for years now and have not once ever had this problem before, even the year that we found out that somehow we owed the military money even though we had already paid it back two years prior, long story different rip off ;)
So i contacted sbbt today to find out what the deal is, they told me that the irs sends the money out on fridays they get it on wednesdays and it' in the account in two days. I think this is total bs, if my money is suppose to be in my bank by the 15th then it needs to be there then! This is just really frustrating and maybe i wouldn't be so aggrevated if it weren't for the fact that i had some bills to pay by the 16th. I told sbbt that if i didn't have my funds in my bank account no later than open of business on feb 20th i was calling the irs because according to them that is the date to contact them if you don't have your money. I will then report sbbt to the better business bureau.
