To all "Household credit card holders", please be aware of a company called Credit Card Protection Agency, this is a company who is affiliated to Household bank. Household bank supplies them with your credit card details, and they'll send you a check which is disguised as a refund check from Household Bank. People than deposit the check thinking is a refund, and to their surprise find two payments of $41.00 billed to their Husehold credit card. Before you deposit the check please read the tiny prints. You will get enrolled automatically once you deposit it, and HouseHold will charge your account $82.00. I called them to find out how is it possible that CCPA gets a hold of the customers account for billing, and they informed me that they are affililiated to them. They supply them with your credit card detils. After I compleined to them, they said that my sister should have read the prints before depositing the check. They also told me that she should have called them before doing anything with the check. I informed that people usually trust their credit card companies, and people would never imagine that their own credit card company would be scamming them out of their money. The call got disconnected, and that's that.
