When was the last time that you paid long distance phone charges to call your credit card company? Did you ever wait three months to have your credit card account closed? Did you ever have a balance due you and you can not get anyone at your credit company to explain what to do?

When trying to call my new credit card company, I realized that they did not have an 800 phone number. After mailing a request to close my account, I received notification THREE months later that the account had been closed. No mention was made of the the close to $50.00 being returned that was showing as a negative balance.
Do NOT apply to Household Credit Services (aka Household Bank) for a credit card... Unless you like to be ripped off!
