I called my bank which is BBandT and made sure I understood what Available and Current means. They told me that the available showed a deposit being made. It was my paycheck coming through. That was Friday. Saturday morning I checked online again and this time it showed a overdraft fee that was taken out after my paycheck had been deposited. The overdraft fee was from something that was being taken out the same time my check was being deposited.instead of taking under consideration my paycheck was coming in they went ahead and gave me an overdraft fee even though I really had money coming in to cover everything. I called the bank and I was informed that if I used my debit card on the 8th and if I deposit on the 9th they will go by my amount in my account on the 8th even though the 8th bill was not sent to the bank till after the deposit. See what I mean! If I paid a bill with my debit on the 8th and it did not go through my bank till the 9th they will go by my account information as of the 8th not when the bill came through the bank. They will not consider the deposit that was credited to the bank on the 9th when they deal with the bill. So I got an overdraft fee even though the deposit was coming in and they knew it was coming in to. I am so mad. It's stealing and they know it and don't care. How can they do that and not consider the deposit coming in at the same time? And still give a overdraft fee. I plan on changing banks. I know it will mess my direct deposit up. Yes, I do have direct deposit and it does not help either. NO it's not my bad money handling. It's BBAndT. I plan on changing banks as soon as possible.
