On 4/6 I had a debit transaction of $12.00, after which I had a balance of 9.77.
First thing AM On 4/7 I deposited $100 cash to avoid going overdrawn.US bank is holding my $100 cash deposit in 'pending' status so they can charge overdraft fees. They did not notify me that they would do this, but my contract states that cash deposits are available immediately.
In the afternoon of 4/7 I had a debit of 33.86, but since they are holding my cash deposit, my balance is now -24.09 and a overdraft fee of $37.50 was charged to my account.
On 4/7, US Bank added $37.50 overdraft charges for two debit transactions made on 4/6, even though both transactions cleared the bank PRIOR to my becoming overdrawn do to their manipulation of the transaction dates.
U.S. Bank also holds my direct deposit paychecks for days (they have done this several times.) They also held a paycheck from an one of the largest and most reputable companies in the world for NINE days, even though the check cleared the bank in one day, and U.
