I started with WFG in the fall of and thought that I have found a great place to work. I was so excited about setting my own hours and making a lot of money, that I was blinded by what was really going on. My MD only carried about points and paks, not what the client really needed. After he and several others changed offices, I really tried to make the business work becasue I believe that people need help with their financies. This spring I started looking at other financail service companies and realized that I was way under paid, and that I didn't have to recurit to be successful in this business. I continued to write business until I made the switch to a new broker/dealer. Two of the last policies I wrote, one started the end of May, the other the middle of June, didn't payout until the day before I resigned and the other a few days after I resigned. WFG says they don't have to pay me even though I'm vested becasue the payments didn't hit until after they had run their pay cycle. I've lost over $3000 in commissions, but their all about taking care of their agents. I someone from WFG tries to recurit you run very fast, and if you really want to get into this buiness, talk with several companies, find out the commission levels, and choose carefully. Don't except anything less than 45%. Good luck, and I anyone with a legal background can help me, please let me know.
Thanks, LAW
