I drove approximately 120 miles and spent several hours with this client, answering questions, comparing benefits as well as writing and statusing this business, to bring this client to Coventry, and my payout for that cost and work is zero thus far. When this guy needs service is not the home office he calls, its me, As the client was brought to them, by me the agent.
Also I should note that as recently, as July 31 Rochelle agreed that this piece of business was still linked to me the agent, but I have talked to other representatives who contradict this, however this is typical of the service I have received from Coventry Medicare. I've been told by The representatives at the home office, they do have a copy of the application which it clearly shows me as the agent that wrote the initial application.
It should also be noted that paragraphs of the agent contract clearly states and supports the agent writing the initial piece of business as the only agent to receive commissions. However the supervisor of commissions completely negates the verbiage of the contract. This is not the only time I've had problems with this company I had to spend several hours getting paid for close to $10,000 worth of commissions that they did not intend to pay me, it has been an uphill battle but this is my final stand.
