Oh the joy of going on my vacation with my Fiance, her 1st one being that she has worked in b. S jobs with no vacations since the age of fourteen, and now 20 she finally got to go on her 1st vacation she's a fulltime student, and works and does her best to spent any xtra time with myself, a good woman dosen't even drink or do drugs but the reason is not her It's Bank of America!
I just wanted to fill the worls in on the backround, so I'm going to make a long story as short as possible. After saving and saving we finally booked are travel package to Orlando Fl. The people in whom we booked it with we're to taker out the Car rental, flights and Hotel out seperately, I called Bank of America the same day of us leaving August 20th they said and assured we we're good on money, I asked will anything be taken out or is anything pending, they said No after I harrassed them like 3-4 times for assurance, I even said so I can spend 4oo something dollars or everything to the last dollar and I will be good no over drafts or nothing and again they said no!
Ok fine then so we went to florida, booked some tickets to universal and such got a great deal on those and we went off into the sunset to live out are childlike fantacies that she deserved, upon returning that day, are phones got cut off after we paid that morning the balance, when we called to see what happened they said because we had innsufficient funds in are account, and needing to get home because we we're lost and couldn't call no one because are phones we're not working we finally made it back by Trial and error if you will 2hrs later.
Well we had to survive so we called the bank via payphone and they said it must be a mistake on are phones part! So we we're assured we're good, we ordered pizza from dominoes which evidently had to last a wk, as well as we bought a $5 shot glass as a souvenier for a friend, one or two things more that weren't to costly all to find out again that we had no money left in the bank and we're in the negative. We went out and after telling us we will be covered because we paid for paid protection so we will only be charged the reinburst on are money we made the best of it and we're smart about it, upon coming homer because the funds still weren't fixed we had to scrap pennies and change and I exaggerate not on that, had to come home from laguardia airport in Queens NYC all the way to New Jersey, so I had to ask for change, take a bus with alot of baggage, talk to the guy inthe station who tahnkfully out of all the A. Holes in the world and especially in NYC where I was born wasn't one, but the guy at the bus station In GWB was and because we was I kid you not 15C short that's 15cents that's right when are stop was only 4-5 stops away we walked it only to get to a zone bags and all where still when the guy said the zone don't change till about a block from my house after begging in front of people let us on Minus a freaking 15Cents.
Now I can say it wasn't the worst vacation because we made the best of it but it could of came so much harder, we spent are days scrapping left overs and not enjoying it properly because the fear of no money. And no way of getting home nor money to call anyone because we had no phones still in service and y, jea because the bank!
So jea We want to go back to florida to enjoy it properly but can't because besides it being the only vacation she could take from her job and the money to go and save we have no money, and we had 400something originally member but we went over only 2oo something but because the draft charges which I later found out they only waved one $35 fee after talking a good talk ans speaking to a manager, are over draft fees were 300 plus that's so crazy we went over 2something but got charged 3something. That's more than 150%profit they made off of us and why because their mistakes that they won't withdraw! Now here's the fun part... They said they i something pending but after three days they automatically take it off the pending list for what reason I don't know when it's a bought transaction, and it's are fault not theirs for us not being informed of this, LOL shame on us huh?!
What nerve we have not having them inform us on something we never knew about. (freaking A-Holes) and some of are transactions we're $5, $2,8, 20something, 30 something, and a few more less than 35 besides the one and the major one's and yet we get charged 35 per item, totaling I don't know more than 300% profit on most give or take. And they said it's only fair because they do that for everyone can be happy if i was to spend a million dollars and only had 800,000 the over fees would still be $35 for that, so if I went over even 1Cents it's still $35, so who's it being fair for the rich or the broke and poor like most, why not a percentage rate or money bracket for over fees so it can be more fair for the hard working Americans who let's say don't have a million to spend (and yes that was the example they gave me) so with paying for school and other natural bills and having to switch accounts for the time being because they don't let us close the account until all debts are paid and if we open a new one me or her by are S. S they will still deduct money owed to them from that, and fear of putting money into the bank because their going to deduct money that she needs for school, travel, credit cards, are phones, FOOD, and other nececities and such, so jea that is the just of my story and really need assistance on this but also wanted to share that with people to get any feed back,
I had a problem originally with bank of America when it changed from fleet to B.O. A, but My now Fiance had it when we met so I couldn't tell her much, I had free checkings and savings and money in the bank but after an injury stop putting money in there and on a occasion when I should of been over and needed money I found out I was negative $9 because they decided to not honor my free checkings and savings nor ti inform me of this and demanded that I pay the 9 just to be in good standings what nerve huh? I'm in my early twenties and she just turned twenty so this is such a horrible experience and I care more for her than me because her dedicating her life to do good this is what she got from a bank she's so loyal to,
I changed my bank a while ago and thus far have no problems but she's just so dam annoyingly Loyal besides stuck, but yea write back to me for anything and the only update I have is we're forced to pay the money to them to no avail or decency to loyal Customers. Have a gr8 day my People. ;)
