I took out a Cash Call loan last year when we were behind on our mortgage payments. Every month, they were paid on time through direct debit from my checking account.
Since that time, I have separated from my husband and have had to get a job that pays 50% less than my previous position. I called Cash Call to work something out with them and they told me to "borrow" the money from someone in order to make my payment. I explained that my priority was to keep the roof over my kids head and they said that wasn't their problem.
I have now received a letter in the mail that they are going to sue me and garnish my wages. I am very concerned about this as I make so little now, if anything else comes out, my kids and I will have no where to go.
How can a company do this to someone who is just trying to make ends meet? Something needs to be done but I don't know what to do. Any suggestions?
