As I read in many of the other reports I have also had several (more than 4) occurences where my husband or I made a deposit and they either didnt give us the full $100 credit and all the charges made with my ATM were each hit with a $35 overdraft fee or they didnt clear the check timely. At one point they had over 300$ in fees and wouldnt cash my payroll check. I have been cashing the same check from the same employer at the same branch for more than 2 years and they treat me like Im a criminal. What exactly does the bank do for me anyway. I dont write checks, they dont provide me any service other than keeping my money from me and charging me when they feel like it. Because my payroll check is drawn on an East coast bank I have to have an account to cash it or I have to pay to have it cashed. That should be against the law. I shouldnt be forced to use a bank and then depleated of my hard earned pay. This is consumer slavery!!!
