Fraudulently reporting to credit bureaus ripoff

I contacted Midland Credit. Mgt. After I viewed over my credit report and after discovering I am a victim of identity theft. I faxed over a copy of the FTC Id theft report, along with requests for fraudulent activity and a dispute form to this company, but a guy named Jose got really irate with me, and stated that they're NOT taking the account off of any credit report, and that I should just PAY them the money! They refuse to cooperate with me regarding my dispute and will NOT give me any other information regarding the fraudulent account
