After being contacted by NewPlatinumAdvantage via telephone, I was led to believe that by paying a $200 dollar deposit I would be given a credit card through this company. I then found out that this was merely a "merchant" account and the credit card would only be valid through catalogs and online stores of NewPlatinumAdvantage company's choosing.
I called less than ONE hour later after speaking to the representative that contacted me to cancel the account. I was assured that I would NOT be charged the $200 and my account was canceled.
Two weeks later NewPlatinumAdvantage took the $200 dollars out of my bank anyway. Now they are refusing to give me back the money they stole from me claiming that I never called to cancel the account even though I already informed them I will have cell phone bills proving that I did indeed call them.
I attempted to contact their company again by telephone repeatedly, never getting through to a representative so I sent an email and still have had NO response from them whatsoever.
