I thought I was applying for a payday loan when I submitted my application to this company. I have no use now or will ever have any use for shopping online at their "store". I was entrapped into giving my account information by their deceptive and misleading website. I am sure this deception is intentional.
I immediately sent an email over to their customer services canceling my application (this was done within 10 minutes of submitting this application) explaining that I was applying for a payday loan and NOT their services.
In that email I revoked my electronic "authorization" and told them NOT to withdraw the $159.95 from my account as it would cause me to be overdrawn. I then called them in the morning and I was told that it had been cancelled!
I did do all this within 12 hours of submitting that application. I did not find out what it was REALLY for until I received notification that they were going to debit my account! I "consented" to them taking those funds in 14 days. They advertised a "14 day free trial. That I could cancel at any time during those 14 days".
I have discovered today, after sending the email revoking my so-called authorization and after talking to customer service and being assured that the application had been cancelled, that they STILL deducted the $159.95 charge. I have just returned from my bank where I fill out FRAUD documentation to be filed and demanding the return of my funds. This will take about 30-90 Days!!! I have to get a REAL payday loan to cover the overdraft (of which $99 was the fees added due to the overdraft).
I want to speak with an attorney and see what can be done to put this company OUT OF BUSINESS! I also want to make them pay for the overdraft charges from my bank due to their fraudulent charges!
