Bank Of America
Only a rich a$ band of a executives would develop an idea their customers rather pay a $35 fee vs. A cashier telling you that your card is declined, ripoff

So, I talked to this rep today about my overdraft fees. They told me that it is a courtesy from the bank to pay off any transactions that my account can't cover to avoid "embarrasment" of having the card declined in front of a cashier. Only rich folks will come up with that non-sense. Declining my card is a good way to tell me I ain't got the funds to cover it.

So in that case let me either leave these items at the registar or let me pull out a different card (from one of bank of a's credit card competitors) to use. Most cashiers are broke anyway so why would anybody think that the customer will be so embarrassed, that they are willing to pay a $35 fee for a. 50 cent purchase. I dont see the "courtesy" in that.

Also, I've been banking with them before debit cards were avaliable and not once did I sign or request anything relating to these "courtesy" transactions. Then as far as the order in which these transactions actually post into the account is all screwed up. They think that the most expensive transactions are the most important so let's post those first, the small ones next so we can charge multiple times, then any deposits/transfers that were made last.

I can understand if u want to charge me $35 once im in red, but what's the point of kicking your own customer when they're down? Shit, it's only costing them $1 or so to make the purchase, so why steal more money? The real answer is ceo's know exactly what they're doing and not giving a f*ck about their own customers that help build their company and those freakin "teller-like" atms.

This issue has been going on for a minute and I think the only way it's going to change is to boycott Bank of America and all those other banks. Hopefully, will take over, they seem to care more about 100% customer satisfaction.
