This company is like dealing with the devil himself. I have had nothing but rude representatives, endless waiting when put on hold, representatives that don't know what they are talking about and get aggravated with you when you ask to many questions, put you on hold and transfer you and you don't know what is going on.
HUD sold my mortagage to Ocwen Federal. I was told that they would help me and treat me just like HUD. What a lie! If I am late paying my mortagage the fees pile up. They send out certified letters and charge my account $90 everytime they do this. Plus I have to pay a late fee on top of that.
If I am having difficulty paying my mortagage, why are you going to tack on these fees, but then you tell me you are here to help me. I have been 1 1/2 months late and was told that they were going to begin foreclourse proceedings within 7 days.
They said they were trying to help me, yea, help me lose my property. When you lose your home after so many years, they are getting the equity that you have put into it. The consumer is losing all around. That doesn't include the harrassing phone calls, the endless letters you receive, that tell you, you owe more than you do.
I owed for june and received a letter saying I needed to pay 2 months or they were going to terminate my forbearence aggrement. I received the letter on June 21 and I only owed for june. How are you charging me for July already. I am joining in the fight because they are taking people for a ride!
