I have a personal checking account with wachovia, along with a joint account with my sister; I also have a student loan with that wachovia too. They deducted all of the funds in my account and my sister's account for a Student loan that I have with them. When my sister asked why, they told her they have the right to do that.
I want to know if they can do that without permission, the funds that was taken out of my sister account was for her financial aid money for college and they told her she would not get that money back. Please tell me what are my rights as a consumer.
