I signed up for an online cash advance, got denied for it, then realized my bank account/debit card was charged 39.95 for a credit monitoring service. I called the company up to cancel this service and was told I had to mail them a form to request cancellation within 5 days of purchase which was on Sept. 27.2 days later on Spet. 29th a Friday, I put the form into the mail. The post office didn't post mark the date until Monday Oct. 2 which is 1 day past their 5 day limit for requesting a refund. They will not refund my money for this service I have told them many times I won't use or do not want. Their response is always I didn't meet their requirments for a refund. I can't get anybody to respond to me with anything other then that. I feel I am being cheated out of $40 by this company who will do anything they can to not refund this money for something they know I'm not going to use. If I buy something anywhere else I can return it if it's unused or never opened. But this company won't issuse a refund. They are being unreasonable by blaming me for the post office being late. Please help me get my money back.
