My name is Tamairo. I am a Loan Officer in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I just started a Broker Shop in Colorado. Milwaukee is my headquarters, and on September 7th, I am flying out to Colorado to open an office
there. I just wanted to let you know that I spent all of yesterday fighting to get my broker package signed up with Investaid.
In the beginning until the end, I was talked down to, disrespected, by a staff member Angie Cucco. I was hung up on by the President Bob Rubin. He said that he doesn't want to do business with me "Period!"and hung up in my face!
The worst part about it is, I had a customer sitting here that heard the whole conversation because he was on speaker phone and heard how rude and disrespectful he was for no reason. I am a single mom doing well with mortgages, and decided to start my own Broker Shop in Colorado, and Milwaukee. I am waiting for my Broker License to come this week for "Milwaukee Mortgage Pros."
Since I am a former school Teacher this has blessed me to
have the gift to train new loan officers. As I look around there aren't many training programs available for loan officers. I have a Loan Officer Training Program here in Milwaukee, Milwaukee Training Pros, and I have one opening in Colorado, Colorado Training Pros, in September. I have been to your website, and it suprised me. Under ethics, I read:
"We agree to conduct our businesses in an ethical manner that reflects the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, competence, courtesy and diligence."
I didn't get this yesterday from these staff members. It isn'tfair for anyone to make assumptions about a person without knowing their background. I only wanted to give him moreinformation about me and what I have already started, and I have already been signed up with three lenders already from other companies for Colorado, and successfully was approved to pull credit on Monday. I am not sure if this treatment that I received has anything to do with my race or what.
I further read on your website under sales and marketing:
Licensing Exercise due diligence to determine that loan officers, correspondents and/or brokers are properly licensed, where applicable.
Well, in Colorado, you don't need a Broker License or Loan Officerlicense. There are many businesses that have Head Quarters in other states. I don't see anywhere in the guidelines that I must have a Broker License in Milwaukee to start a Broker Shop in Colorado. I feel that I am being picked on, discriminated against and I haven't even been given a chance. I work for a Broker shop here in Milwaukee and I am clearing at least $30,000 per month.
My Broker just signed up with Investaid not long ago, so I had not gotten the chance to send any loans yet. However, I had about $500,000 or more worth of loans that I was about to send to my Rep Dan Debic within two days. Since I was told by Bob Rubin that he didn't want to do business with me "Period, " I guess that means that he doesn't want those loans that I was about to send.
I am very disappointed that the President of Investaid would hang up in my face without me being able to say one word. He didn't give me a chance. I was always a firm believer in that you should treat others how you want to be treated and I am sure that he wouldn't have wanted anyone to treat him the way he treated me. I expected a certain level of professionalism from the President that I didn't get. I plan to let others know about this as well.
Also, after I was treated this way, I went to some Broker websites to find out what was being said about Investaid, and it wasn't pleasant at all. I thought that this was going to be a great working relationship for all of us because I had planned to send Investaid most of my business because of the great programs that I saw on the website. Now, all of that has been changed. I am disgusted and outraged by the President's actions, and plan to post this letter on the web.
Sincerely,
Tamairo
