The reason why I think Compass Bank is a ripp off is because once a month they try to say I have over drawn. The first time they said I overdrawed eighty cents and charge me thirty six dollar. I always keep my book up to date. I tried to show them that I supposed to have two dollars and some change in my account, but they didn't want to see that. I talk to the bank manager and tried to show him what I had added up, but he said I did over draw and that was what the computer said. But he did refund my thirty six dollars back. I explain to him when I open this account none of this was explain, cause the lady had came to our job trying to get us to open an account with them and go direct deposit. She didn't explain anything but that it was free to open an account.
The second time really pissed me off. I always keep up with my account every time I swipe or write a check, I would subtract what I have in my book. This time they told me I had overdrawn when I just had eight dollars and fifty-three cents left in my account. They said that I had three transaction that had overdrawn which was a total of twenty-three dollars and seventy-nine cents, which they charge me thirty-six dollars three times. I went to the bank and talk to someone and she printed out what she had. She ask me did I have my book with me and I told her yes, so she told me everything she call out see do I have it wrote down and which I had everything she had. So, I ask her how I had overdrawn when everything was right and she told me the computer doesn't lie and do not make mistakes, cause I had ask her do she think the computer made an error and that is what she told me. Then she also told me I was the first person that have complain and had everything wroted down, but yet I'm still wrong and they are right. I went to payroll were I work and told them not to deposit any more money in that account. I just want to say onething is that I have another account from where I'm from and I have direct deposit with them and I have never overdrawn with them and I have been with them for about nine months and I have been with Compass for about two months. I think someone need to investigate Compass Bank.
