I started looking for a bank account at the beginning of the year and I came acroos Rush Card. It is a prepaid "checking" account with "minimal" fees. I signed up fpr the card and waited for my welcome kit to come in the mail. It never came. After a couple months I called and they told me they would reissue me another one. They failed to mention that I would have to pay $19.95 for this card. Even though I never received the first card from them, they still charged me for the second one.
I used my card frequently over the past 6 months thinking it was ok because this card was supposed to be "better for you than carryinh cash. Well after these six months I went online to check my transaction history and to my surprise I had been charged a total of EXACTLY $101.
Now how is charging that much money to use my own money "better" than carrying the cash in my pocket? This is a total scam
