Compass Bank
NSF Fees, Rip Off, Charged 10 NSF charges

I am so sick and tired of being ripped off by these big companies!!! I had almost 900 dollars in my account on friday 4-6-07. I check my account every friday morning because I have direct deposit and I like to know that the money is there. My rent check, 595.00, was cashed that day, but somehow it was cashed before my direct deposit came through at 6 AM... They said I only had 380 dollars in the bank when the check was cashed, but at 6 AM when I checked my account I had close to 900 dollars. They say I only had 380 dollars in the account, but they cashed the check anyway. That drew the account negative 253 dollars.

When my check processed they took half of it automatically because of the fees. I checked my account for the next three days to make sure everything was going smooth and according the compassweb.com, everything was fine. I checked my account on monday and I had drawn my account negative 380 dollars. They said I overdrafted my account 10 times. They said my rent check was cashed on 4-5-06, but the bank did not stamp the back of the check until the day after.

I know they are stealing and I am going to prove it somehow. I have already contacted several lawyers and I will be filing suit. I cannot pay my electricity or my car payment because compass bank took another 400 dollars out of my account this friday.

When I asked if the fees could be put back in, I was told that it was my fault and I should track my money better, but I know FOR A FACT THAT I NEVER WENT NEGATIVE! I hate compass bank!!! Burn in hellll!
