A payment plan was set up for our house payment due to we had fallen behind on our mortgage payments. I had made my first payment on that payment plan on June 23rd by calling ASC on the telephone. I made the payment over the phone with a check from my bank checking account.
I made the payment before the due date. On July 3rd I recieved a telephone call from a ASC representative and he informed me that the payment I made came back from my bank due to it was not a valid account number. When I made the payment over the phone the ASC rep. Wrote down my bank account number incorrectly.
All of the digits were correct except for one number and that is the fault of the ASC rep. ASC is now telling me that I broke the payment agreement because of this. They are not taking any responsibility at all for there mistake.
