Says No Payment Received Even Though Payment Scheduled Online

We have a mortgage thru Countrywide. We made our 1st payment June. I pay the mortgage online (thru Countrywide's website) and have done so right from the beginning. All was going fine until Aug.

I logged onto my bank account one Friday (not my scheduled mortgage date) and found that Countrywide had taken out a mortgage payment. Needless to say, I was a bit pissed off as it put our account in the neg $500 (overdraft fees, etc) AND I had not scheduled the mortgage for that day. I call countrywide and they say oh yeah, you schuled the payment, it's right here, blah, blah, blah. I concede that MAYBE I made a mistake (I am human) but I had never made this mistake before (and I REALLY believe I didn't).

I spoke to someone in payment processing. She was genuinely nice but said she couldn't do anything because the payment had already posted - but I should contact my bank an dispute the charge with them. I did. And after 2 weeks, the payment was reversed. Ok, all's good.

Aug payment was made. September payment is made on time. October payment is taken out EARLY again. Now I am sure I am not the one making the mistake. I don't do anything about it because we happen to have the money there that day (my husband only gets paid twice per month so we are very careful about our bill pay dates). No harm, no foul, this time.

November. I scheduled the NOV payment for yesterday 11/30 (I did this about 2 weeks ago). Per the Countywide webste, all payments are processed at 4pm Pacific Time. I went online (at 5pm Pacific Time) to make sure my payment had posted. It hadn't. I wanted to make sure I scheduled it for the right day (since I seem to have so many problems lately) so I tried to log into the payment section. Surprise, surprise. The website told me I had no access to Mortgage Pay on the web and to call the 800#. I did. The automated voice tells me no payment has been received and that I cannot be helped until I make a payment.

I want to talk to someone to find out what's going on so I make a payment over the phone. Great. I have my confirmation number and everything. Now, I can talk to someone. Guess again. They're closed until Monday (they close at 5pm Pacific Time-it's now 5:20 PT). I hang up and decide I'll deal with it on Monday. I'm just glad the mortgage has been paid.

Fast forward 3 hrs. I Logged back onto Countrywide's website to make sure the phone payment I made has posted. Not only has that payment posted, but the ORIGINAL payment that I scheduled for the day has posted too! ARe you kidding me? I can't cancel any payments (noone is there til Monday). By Monday, the payments will post at my bank (overdrawing the account AGAIN - Bank of America so you know how they are). I am going to have to dispute this again and wait the 2 weeks it takes to fix it (perfect at Christmas time).

Isn't it convenient that my computer access is denied the day my payment is scheduled? This is crap. They suck!
