I was contacted by Ameritrust in late May, 06 saying they would guarantee me a credit card to rebuild my credit. On June 8th, 06 they took $200. From my checking account. I was promised within 14 days I would have a credit card to make purchases where ever i desired.in return they would report my credit to the credit agency to help restore my credit.
Once I received their Guarantee Acceptance Letter I read the fine print and everything I was promised is a lie! It is a credit card from their catalog. I asked before I gave the ok if this was a catalog card or an acual card. He said no, it's an acual card to purchase what you want when you want. Now I read my $200 is non-refundable.
This is a scam to get $200.00 out of every sucker like me. I am a single mom trying to raise my son on my own. Taking $200.00 out of my account was a hugh deal for me. I work 2 jobs to pay the bills with no support. Come on people! Stop ripping good hard working people off!!
