We have a recorded message of Valerie saying she wanted to take Greg to dinner and drinks. This is a financial institution not a dating service. These were also our private numbers that were not given to her
Message sent to Union Bank from me:
I am writing because I am a client of Union Bank and have been for at least 10 years. The branch manager Valerie called my to ask me out on a date. I am happily with a wonderful woman and never gave her any idea that I had any interest in her.
First of all a bank is for business, secondly she had to access my account in order to obtain my phone numbers.
I had received messages at work from her the past few days but ingnored them knowing my account was fine. It wasn't until she left a message on my private phone saying "she would like to go out with me, take me to dinner or have drinks" that I was taken back. She even left two phone numbers 245-0228 and 688-6421.
I do not expect a financial institution to be a dating service and I especially don't appreciate a desperate woman having access to my money, records and phone numbers (for personal use). On top of that having the audacity to call me is unacceptable.
I am taking my business elsewhere and speaking to my legal counsel regarding the serious situation that Union Bank allows employees to act in this manner. It is against the law and Valerie has now jeopardized my personal information but Union Banks reputation. A branch manager should conduct herself with some professionalism.
I am writing this to the city council since this is problematic to other clients and illegal.
Since anonymity is obviously not a problem with Union Bank I feel that this should be known to the public what Valerie is doing with her time.
