I saw only 1 time on my account balance that I had overdrew I was -55.00 dollars. I didn't withdraw 50, theres a 30 dollar overdraft fee. Even at this I was upset. I only have a monthly income 2 deposits v. A & ssi at this keybank in ohio. After my deposit took care of this. I honestly tell you I saw no more negative on my balance slips.
So I happen to find a part time job few weeks later I go to cash my check they tell me i'm negative 180.00 dollars. I go in the office and tell the clerk I payed the 55.00 dollars. I've been withdrawing my own money I havent seen any -negative marks on my balance statements.
So since I only have monthly income and I got discouraged about putting money into that account. The new overdraft fees that they put on me has me -negative 277.00 -277.00 I'm so pissed off. All I ask is I didn't ask for money I didn't have. I even called their customer service and ask about why was this allowed to happen and I didnt want it to happen again.
So please do not allow overdraft on my account she said it's nothing they could do it's a bank privelege, but I don't want this and I should have the right to decline if the other customers want this fine that's their choice but they never mentioned to me if I wanted this. I just makes things harder on people. That's why people put money into banks, for the banks to keep up with their money, not to let them overdraw.
I want to be able to decline this service. The in house tellers don't give money you don't have to you. A.T.M. Is being used to rip people off and put them into debt with the bank. I do not want overdraft and I should be made aware and have right to decline.
