US Bank operates a scheme by which they will hold your deposits an inordinate amount of time, clear transactions from largest amount to smallest, and kill you with fee's after they make damn sure that you over draft with five piddly transactions that may add up to a few dollars. They hit with 37.00 dollars per overdraft, then knock you over the head with a 7.00 dollar daily negative balance fee, next they kick you in the balls and step on your neck with an additional 37.00 dollar overdraft for each one of their 7.00 dollar daily negative balance fees. An error on your part amounting to a few cents or a couple of dollars will send you account into a negative spiral costing you hundreds or even thousands of dollars in a very short time. They did not explain this pitfall when I opened an account and the agreement and accompanying literature does not mention this either. They however will condescend to explain it to you while treating you like dirt after they suck up your whole pay check with fees for a two dollar error on your part.US Bank is EVIL. Put your money in a small community bank and restrain from feeding this monstrosity your hard earned cash.
