National City Bank only makes the consumer follow the Account Rules. They also have an obligation to follow the Bank Policy. However seeing they did not do this with me, I am going to try to find an attory to file a breach of contract suit against them.
They claimed I owe monies for a different account. But I was never notified as the primary on the account anything was wrong. Then one day they took over $300 out of my other account and two years later they took $250.26. The $250.26 was in dispute with a collection agency and the following day after speaking with the collection agency NCB put a hold on my account for that amount. I have fought and fought and faxed and faxed to no avail. I have filed a complaint with the Comptroller of Currency which governs any bank with the words "national" in their name.
By all means if you are having a problem with National City Bank, then file a complaint.
