Our expierence with IPA has been similar as the rest of the entries. We canceled our contract after 1 day.
IPA is attempting to collect an unjust balance and has threatented court action. We requested all the documents and upon recieivng discovered that the original contract had been altererd after we signed. When I brought that fact to the attention of IPA; I was told that was normal IPA practice.
In the legal world when a signed contract is altered in that manner, at best for IPA, it is an counter offer in which we could reject. We were not presented with the counter offer and therefore are claiming the contract was void.
Any one who has been vicitmized by IPA should compare the copy of their contract to what was presented to the IAP office. We also ran background in preparation for trail on the crew that was sent to us and found that the Project Manager was fired from a Stocks Exchange for unethical practices and the so called tax attornery is not registered with the American BAr Association or his local state he cliams to be practicing.
If IPA files suit against us we are prepared to defend ourselves in court and obtain legal council for a class action suit against IPA. We intend to gather those effected by IPA in ALaska and anywhere else.
For those who are looking at doing business with IPA check with your bank before signing. Our bank sent out a warning to all business accounts warning of the scam and holes with IPA. Also, do not sign the contract until all lines are filled. The sales guy will tell you that he is using an old contract an those dont apply but they fill in the blanks later. My advice is call around and see if any organization offers all the services in one package as IPA claims. You will find there is none.
