How can a bank who was forced into bankruptcy, still be able to collect on an account. Especially an account that was paid off 3 years ago.

1st national bank of omaha took over the accounts after fcnb was force to turn them over by the occ. (feds) if you have an account or did have one through fcnb, you must contact 1st national bank of omaha.

You must call them before 4pm cst, cause the fcnb reps leave after this time. However they have very limited records on your account.

If you are dealing with a collection agency out of philadelphia, pa. Then dont expect to get any information from them. They are very rude, and only care about collecting your money.

If anyone knows of a class action law suit, please let me know. I believe it would have to be filed against 1st national bank of omaha, since fcnb is no longer in business.

I have read your stories, and i feel your headaches. I cant believe how this collection agency claims i owe money on an account i already paid off.

Well, i am going to fight this thing till i win. I will not be ripped off by a company that no longer exists.
