Wells Fargo Mortgage - Norwest ripoff poor accounting service and poor customer service

In Aug. 05 we almost fell behind on our mortgage payment, I was not able to get the payment to them until around the middle of the month, we never were even a month behind. They put us into a foreberance aggrement where we were paying our monthly payment plus a couple hundred dollars more to get us back on track. This was for a 6 month period, or so we thought. After we made our first payment they said we could set it up on an EFT so I called and set this up. The first month went fine, on the second month I noticed that the payment had not cleared my bank and when I called to find out why I was then told I had to call them each month to have the payment taken and there was a $20.00 charge for this. News to us! I went ahead and made a EFT that day and paid the charge, then I was told I had broken the aggrement and was in default. So we set up another aggrement. I was sending in my payments but each month it was taking longer to clear our bank.in Dec. When my payment haden't cleared by the 14th I called and was told that my check must have been lost so I made another EFT on the 14th. I went to my bank and put a stop pay on the "lost check", and don't you know it hit my bank on the 16th and of course was returned. So I called them and was informed that I would be charged for my returned check and that I had broken my aggrement with them again. I was really upset and no matter what I said I was told that I was in default. Finally after arguing for about 30 minutes and after several demands to talk with a supervisor I finally got one on the line. She also insisted we had broken the aggrement, but she told me we had about 1/2 of the make up payment in a holding account and that in Jan 06 all we needed to send was the other half and we would be current and square with them. So on Dec. 30 I called to reconfirm this information and was told again that was all I needed, so that is what we sent.in Feb. I sent my normal payment in on time but again noticed that it had not cleared the bank. I also received a letter from them on the 17th stating that we were delinquent for 3 months and foreclosure was going to take place in March if we don't get the past due payments to them. So I called once again and as luck would have it I happened to get the same person I had talked to in Dec. And he remembered me and the account and the 1/2 payment deal so he said after looking over our account that, in his words "was all screwed up" and it looked like payments had been posted wrong. So he said he was sendind it to research and to call back in a couple weeks.in March I mailed my payment off on the 2nd and as of today it still hasn't cleared our bank. Yesterday I called again and was told that we owed 3 payments and that we needed to again go into forebarenc to stop foreclosure. Only this time they were saying we would need to pay over a $1000.00 a month on this plan.in the mean time we had to file bankruptcy in Oct. But we reafirmed on the mortgage. Our bankruptcy discharged opn Jan. 29, and now they are telling us that we didn't reaffirm on the loan, which of course I can prove that we did. But we refused to enter into their aggrement so we were told they would not accept any more of our payments and that they would procceed with the foreclosure. I have copies of our payments so we are going to try and fight back, I don't know if they will accept our March payment or not, my husband said he would keep sending in our monthly payments and that we want a print out of all of the account, he was told that will take 15 to 20 days. We are in our 60's and I am on disiblity and my husband is on Social Security so $1000.00 a month is really way over our heads, at this point our credit is the very least of oure concerns we just want to keep our home but they seem to want as much as we do. And we thought we were with a fine old upstanding company, go figure.
