I'm retired and we live on a fixed income. We received a check from the insurance Co. To cover the cost of repairs from storm Wilma. Countrywide said to send them the check, endorsed, and they would us a new check. Now they say we must have the work done and than they will pay the cost. On my income how do we do this?
Countrywide does not pay for the insurance, We do.
I do not believed Countrywide has any right to do this. They put this money in the bank and draw intrest on it. With the number checks they have received this will be in the millons of dollars they are cheating us out of.
