Do not bank at tcf! I work for a business in my town and have heard nothing but bad things about TCF and how they hold payroll checks and charge overdraft fees. I have even heard that they will tamper with your account so you think you have money.
If at all possible DO NOT BANK AT TCF! They are terrible to deal with and do not care at all about keeping their customers. They will hold payroll checks for days and days and then bounce checks that come through even when they have your money. No wonder they have to wander through Jewel and beg for business - nobody keeps an account there for more than a couple months!!
