Wells Fargo Shorted Me $100.00 On Deposit And Never Made It Right! Free Checking Account w/Many Small Hidden Charges!

WELLS FARGO'S FEES AND CHARGES: I have noticed several $1.00 check card activity charges that should not apply since there is no one that should be charging me these fees. Where are these comming from...? I have been noticing a $5.00 monthy service fee when I was told this account was free and is why I opened it...!!?? A $6.95 Bill Pay Service Fee when I have NEVER used Bill Pay...!!?? I have $2.00 POS usage fee's...!!?? These are just little amounts but they add up and are sucking me dry over time...!! I am a hard working person and do not have much money and do not feel that this is fair or honest. If I was going to be charged these fee's I should have been notified or sent a clear explanation of the charges and why these charges will exsist.

Wells fargo shorted me $100.00!!! The following is a copy of the letter i had written to wells fargo, they never corrected the situation and i am still short $100.00:

Dear Wells Fargo ATM Fraud & Claims And Highest In Power,
RE: Claim Reference Number WXXXXXXXXX-X

This inconvenience causing situation is very simple. I made a supposed to be simple deposit for $335.00 to my Wells Fargo account XXXXXXXXXX on March 1 (03/01/00) at the time of 8:00 P.M. At ATM 0061A in San Leandro. I had also made a withdraw for $100.00 cash back. This means that the remaining balance that should be deposited into my account from my transaction would be $235.00 and never was. Since Wells Fargo does not seem to understand this then I will make it as simple as possible. I deposited one check from Mr. XXXXX XXXXXX for the amount of $35.00 and the other check from Mr. XXXXXX XXXXX for $300.00, The total amount of the deposit is $335.00. Since I had also made a withdraw for $100.00 cash back the total to be deposited into my account should have been $235.00 but never was. It is very simple: $335.00-$100.00=$235.00. Wells Fargo first decided to put the funds from the $300.00 check from Mr. XXXXXX XXXXX on hold for several days, which caused a great inconvenience but that was only the beginning of everything I would have to go through originating from a simple ATM deposit with Wells Fargo. The $300.00 check from Mr. XXXXXX XXXXX finally went through several days later and was good just as had already known. Wells Fargo finally deposited the funds into my Wells Fargo XXXXXXXXXX checking account and the amount was short $200.00. I had made a withdraw for $100.00 but I was also an additional $100.00 short from what had actually been deposited.

I had initially called Wells Fargo to question the hold that took 5 days on the $300.00 check from Mr. XXXXXX XXXXX, which was good. The Wells Fargo representative didn't have a good answer and said that the hold would only be up to a three day maximum. I asked if they could just do something simple as to contact Mr. XXXXX's bank so this inconvenience and hassle could be avoided. The representative told me that I it was my job to contact the bank or to question Mr. Xxxxx. This is really not my job and would have been more so Wells Fargo's job to verify funds with other banks. It would have been needlessly embarrassing to hassle Mr. XXXXXX XXXXX a man I sometimes do business with which is good for every check he writes. It would also have been impossible to get the bank information and check number having already deposited the check and not taking this information down assuming that Wells Fargo could actually do it's job.

Wells Fargo had sent me a notice two weeks later stating that they would deposit the $100.00 that was never deposited in the first place as it should have been after I had contacted them. Now Wells Fargo had sent a second notice stating that they will be rededucting $100.00 from my account, money that belongs to me, that I worked hard for.in more direct terms, I am being ripped off. Wells Fargo also now wants a photocopy of the $300.00 check from Mr. XXXXXX XXXXX, which is a ridiculous contradiction being that the check had already been deposited. I would have done so if there was actual reason for these types of needless problems and complications. Plain and simple I am just sick and tired of these types of problems and needless complications with Wells Fargo. It is these types of Wells Fargo induced mistakes and problems that make banking with Wells Fargo difficult and sometimes impossible. I own a small computer service business In California and just received a business license thus soon needing a business account. I have now opened up a business account with US Bank, which has been excellent in it's service, treatment, concern and immediate resolution of any type of problems unlike Wells Fargo at times. I am now not sure if I will even continue banking with Wells Fargo at this time because of this ongoing neglect to be fair to a hard working customer.

Many business associates I conduct business with have told me many terrible stories regarding the way Wells Fargo conducts business and all of the problems that Wells Fargo has caused them. I now know how difficult and sometimes almost impossible banking with Wells Fargo can be. I am a very busy person that doesn't have much money and works very hard to try and make a decent living. I do not have the time to be dealing with these types of hassles, problems, complications and ridiculous situations due to the mistakes and problems initiated by Wells Fargo and/or it's employees. I can't even express all of the trouble, hassle and the struggle I have gone through because of the way Wells Fargo sometimes does business. I feel that I could never be compensated for all of the stress and emotional trauma these types of ongoing problems have caused me. I feel that I could almost write a book about every problem I have had with Wells Fargo. I will not be cheated out of $100.00 by a large bank that can't even do it's job at times. At this time I demand that the $100.00 that Wells Fargo had shorted me during a simple transaction be immediately deposited back into my account as well as some kind of reasonable compensation for this mistake and ongoing neglect to correct the issue on Wells Fargo's behalf. I will do whatever it takes and expect that the situation be made right that I have been so inconvenienced over. I expect to have the money that I have worked very hard for, deserve and rightfully earned immediately and rightfully deposited into my account as soon as possible like it should have been sometime ago.
